2015 Mickey kissing Minnie pressed nickel
DL0595 Retired 2015 Mickey Kissing Minnie pressed nickel or elongated coin image. DISNEYLAND ® PARK, Mickey Mouse kissing Minnie Mouse, 2015, ©DISNEY, no border. Replaced the DL0577 (2014 Mickey Rays). First onstage April 9, 2015. Mid year 2015 this machine was taken offstage. The machine returned on 11/10/15 with identical artwork, marquee etc. However, close examination revealed that the DL0596 and DL0597 dies were replaced, possibly due to damage, with nearly identical dies, the DL0622 and DL0623. The DL0595 remained unchanged. On January 4, 2016, the machine was reported offstage. Reverse: "DISNEYLAND ® PARK". (This Disneyland pressed coin number made with the possibly now canceled #DLP0511.0.1 obverse elongated coin die in its original "0" state / variation, paired with this coin's "1" or first reverse coin die, DISNEYLAND ® PARK.) This pressed coin set was originally located in the exit area of the Main Street Opera (Lincoln Attraction), button "A". Larger pressed penny image in frame or window # 1   2   3
Mickey & Minnie Sitting together with arms around each other
DL0622 Retired 2015 Mickey & Minnie TYPE II Sitting with arms around each other or elongated coin image. DISNEYLAND ® PARK, Mickey and Minnie Mouse sitting together with their arms around each other, ©DISNEY, no border. Replaced the very similar DL0596 which was reported broken. The machine and marquee remained the same. However, close examination reveals that the DL0622 has notable differences when compared to the DL0596. Example, DL0622 has a circle outline of the moon which is complete and solid with a small mark / flaw at about 8:00 on the moon's outline. First onstage 11/10/15. On January 4, 2016, the machine was reported offstage. (Please reference the detail comparison for attribution.) Reverse: "DISNEYLAND ® PARK". (This Disneyland pressed coin number made with the possibly now canceled #DLP0538.0.1 obverse elongated coin die in its original "0" state / variation, paired with this coin's "1" or first reverse coin die, DISNEYLAND ® PARK.) This pressed coin set was originally located in the exit area of the Main Street Opera (Lincoln Attraction), button "B". Larger pressed penny image in frame or window # 1   2   3 (Note: In July of 2017, guide descriptions confusing the DL0596, DL0597 and the DL0622, DL0623 image differences were corrected.)

DL0623 Retired 2015 Mickey & Minnie TYPE II Hugging each other pressed nickel or elongated coin image. DISNEYLAND ® PARK, Mickey and Minnie Mouse hugging each other, 2015, ©DISNEY, no border. Replaced the very similar DL0597 which was reported broken. The machine and marquee remained the same. However, close examination reveals that the DL0623 has notable differences when compared to the DL0597. Example, the DL0623 has a small mark / flaw just below the coin grip notch which is easy to spot. First onstage 11/10/15. On January 4, 2016, the machine was reported offstage. (Please reference the detail comparison for attribution.) Reverse: "DISNEYLAND ® PARK". (This Disneyland pressed coin number made with the possibly now canceled #DLP0539.0.1 obverse elongated coin die in its original "0" state / variation, paired with this coin's "1" or first reverse coin die, DISNEYLAND ® PARK.) This pressed coin set was originally located in the exit area of the Main Street Opera (Lincoln Attraction), button "C". Larger pressed penny image in frame or window # 1   2   3 (Note: In July of 2017, guide descriptions confusing the DL0596, DL0597 and the DL0622, DL0623 image differences were corrected.)

 Adventureland Disneyland Park stampback.
DL0648-650r Adventureland Disneyland Park stampback. An advanced elongated coin reverse featuring devices that are often found only on the obverse of the coin. Because of these unique descriptive stampbacks, this set of pressed coins can be easily identified and attributed to the Disneyland Resort, Anaheim. The tradition of stampbacked pressed coins at the Disneyland Resort is truly "Disney Quality" and a welcome "Plus" not often seen outside the DLR. First onstage on October 6, 2016 with the DL0648, DL0649, and DL0650 Indiana Jones pressed penny souvenir set. The image shown is a representative image of all reverses or stampbacks of this type. Editor's note: We are often reminded that the preferred numismatic term is "Elongated Coins". However, as the rebellious, risk taking, devil may care ParkPennies.com contributors that we are, temptation often gets the better of us. As a result, you may see the more casual, terms like: stamped coins, pressed coins, pressed nickels, pressed dimes, pressed quarters, smashed pennies, flattened pennies, crushed pennies, squashed pennies, rolled pennies, mashed pennies, stamped pennies, smushed pennies, stretched pennies, memory pennies, keepsake pennies, flattened pennies, and souvenir coin medallions to describe these fun pressed coin souvenirs. :-) Here are some pages about the often asked questions of How many pressed coins are at Disney? and How much do pressed coins cost? Just for fun, here is a page with a bit of a different take on Pressed Coins Facts and Fiction with tips on how different coins press, cool pressed coin jewelry, early penny presses... Happy Collecting! Boomer and the folks at ParkPennies.com :-)
