The rumors of Star Wars pressed coins to complement Disneyland's upcoming Star Wars Land were persistent and persuasive, for months. Then when an updated Disneyland 60th Anniversary pressed coin brochure mentioned Star Wars pressed coins, well, people started pacing the probable locations. However, it wasn't until May 5, 2016 that the first two coin presses were placed onstage. The wait proved worthwhile. Not only were there two machines offering three pressed quarters each, one The Rebel Forces, and one The First Order themed pressed quarters. But, for the first time ever at Disneyland, each machine offered a video screen with sound effects and special lighting. Way cool! And these last a lifetime treasures, just $1.00 each.

We'll add Star Wars themed pressed souvenirs to this page as they are released. In the future there may be Star Wars pressed pennies, pressed nickels, even pressed tokens. We think they will make for one really fun collection.
