Picture of Disneyland Tomorrowland Mickey souvenir pressed pennies - elongated coins.DL0014 Retired Tomorrowland Mickey pressed penny or elongated coin image. TOMORROWLAND, Astronaut Mickey Mouse and Star Speeder 3000, © DISNEY DISNEYLAND ® , classic bead or dot border. Off stage November 24, 1999, returned February 4, 2000, retired November 4, 2002. Replaced by DL0186. (This Disneyland pressed coin number made with the possibly now canceled #DLP0014.0.0 obverse elongated coin die in its original "0" state / variation, paired with a blank "0" reverse coin die.)
This single die penny press was located for a good part of its life at the Starcade in Tomorrowland. When this die was replaced by the DL0186, the penny press case was "plused up" with paint and graphics, not long after that, the Starcade was leased out to NAMCO and sadly the location was lost. A rumored Space Mountain pressed penny never made it to this machine or location. Larger pressed penny image in frame or window # 1   2   3

First on-stage from 8/30/12 to 10/14/2012 as a nickel press machine in Starcade coin number DL0528(n). After a long absence, this machine returned on 5/1/2013 as one of the first three Disney coin presses modified to press game tokens in the USA, coin number DL0528T. Nickels could no longer be pressed. Then, on August 21, 2013 this machine began pressing pennies for the first time, coin number DL0528p. (The DL0528(n), DL0528t, and DL0528p all share the same obverse and reverse coin dies. Their engraved images are all the same, only the coins / tokens they press are different.) A remodel of the Starcade removed all penny press machines and walled off the arcade in early February 2015. Given these dies, in any variation, have not returned to the Starcade or any other location in the park in months and they are "The Space Mountain 35th Anniversary Set", we believe, based on a preponderance of the evidence, they ain't coming back.
