DN0054 Haunted Mansion Arcade Shop Prototype Quarter. Horizontal pressed quarter. DISNEYLAND ® RESORT, THE HAUNTED MANSION, Picture of the gated mansion with a full moon overhead. This die has no "e" for Eurolink and appears to be an etched image as were the Arcade Shop dies of the time. We believe it to be a Shop coin that was never placed onstage or used for a Cast Member event. Looks much like the DL0520. Reverse: Blank or "Retired". DN0055 2006 Chip N Dale Prototype Pressed Penny. Vertical prototype elongated penny image. DISNEY'S GRAND CALIFORNIAN HOTEL ® Chip 'N Dale near peanut half shells, 2006 ©DISNEY, dot border, "e". This is the Eurolink engraved predecessor to the controversial DR0099 penny. Chip does not have a "controversy" in this first variation. Rumored that this die-was not tempered and had to be returned for replacement. The replacement die was the similar, but infamous onstage DR0099. No stampbacked examples confirmed. DN0061 Happy Easter 2007 Arcade Shop Pressed Coin. Vertical pressed quarter image. HAPPY EASTER, egg image covers this coin featuring Eeyore with Piglet riding on his back and Winnie The Pooh standing beside him. Inscribed: 2007, ELECTRO MECHANICAL at the bottom of the egg image / coin. No border past the outline of the Easter egg, grip at the bottom. Not closely similar to any other elongated coin, prototype or onstage. Scarce. No stampbacked examples known. Believed to have been engraved and rolled in-house by Disneyland Arcade Shop Cast Members in early 2007 for planned distribution at an Easter party held at the Arcade Shop that year. We heard about this coin a couple of years before we could establish its provenance. DN0072 Facilities & Operations Services Prototype Pressed Quarter. Horizontal pressed quarter image. FACILITIES & OPERATIONS SERVICES ©DISNEY, Mickey cogwheel or gear logo, small dot border, "D" for Disneyland replaces the dot nearest the center of the gripper slot. This elongated coin die uses art work similar to the CM0026, CM0027, CM0028, CM0035 and CM0048 which have an "e" in place of this coin's "D" at the gripper. (All listed in the CM Cast Member Pressed Coin Guide) excepting small variations, grip notch to the right, and a "D" which replaces the "e" near the gripper notch. Believed to have been engraved in house by the "Arcade Shop" aka The Electro Mechanical Shop, circa 10/2009. The native coin maybe a token, a pressed quarter shown.
