Tokyo DisneySea started the very popular Coins of the Month franchise back in 2005 which soon was shared with Tokyo Disneyland Park. DisneySea has also issued some nice sets of medals like the TDS0613 - TDS0615 set below. Editor's note: We are often reminded that the preferred numismatic term for these Tokyo Disneyland souvenirs is "Medals". However, many avid collectors are known to use the words pressed pennies, as well as elongated coins, nickels, flattened, crushed, squashed, rolled, mashed, smashed, stamped, squished, smushed, stretched, memory, keepsake or pressed coins when describing these fun "pressed penny" souvenirs.
