The CA California Adventure
Pressed Penny Guide

All known pressed pennies, elongated coins or penny souvenirs ever issued "on-stage", available to the general public, inside the gates of Disney's California Adventure, DCA are listed here. The guide is divided into the "Vintage", classic-look coins which were issued through the 50th Anniversary of Disneyland Park and Post 50th coins, which so far often have a borderless, plainer appearance. The DCA elongated coins are collected separately by some and are also an important part of the Disneyland Resort, USA, collection.

This CA Guide covers all the on-stage DCA "pressed pennies". Coins available outside the gates of DCA are listed in the other respective guides linked above. For additional coins not issued on-stage inside the gates of Disney's California Adventure, please refer to Disney's California Adventure Elongated Coin Reverses, Disneyland Resort Canceled Coins, and Disneyland Resort Elongated Coin Test Rolls for additional California Advent rue based coins and variations not listed because the coins were not vended by on-stage, public machines. I think collecting these little treasures is a fun, casual hobby. But, it's also a very serious pursuit by many collectors. So, we use the "correct" numismatic terms... sometimes. We often use "Elongated Coins", interchangeably with the more casual terms, pressed and flattened, crushed, squashed, rolled, mashed, smashed, crushed, stamped, squished or stretched pennies (pennys %-) to describe these fun souvenirs. We hope both serious and casual collectors will be tolerant of our indecisive form.
