DL0277 and the DL0283 / DL0344 Pressed Pennies


The Splash Mountain Mickey is another coin that is worthy of a page here at ParkPennies.com. Not only is the DL0277 a hard to find coin, but, if you don't look closely, it looks a lot like the very common DL0283. The picture above should be all that is needed to make a positive ID on that illusive Splash Mickey! First on-stage March 29, 2005 at the Splash Mountain exit. Button "A". DL0277 and DL0283 are very similar coins. This die replaces the DL0277.

This is a DL0283 with a new backstamp. Compare with DL0277 also.
Reverse: Splash Mountain in a deep solid print script. Not dot matrix style print as is the DL0283, DL0277 and DL0278.
First on-stage April 13, 2006 at the Splash Mountain exit. Button "A". The DL0344 is a DL0283 with the new backstamp. This coin replaces the DL0283.
