The Beginning of...
Disney Pressed Penny Collecting Books

Historically, knowledge about this prototype book was a great find for us. We believe it is the earliest known souvenir Disney pressed penny book. Very cool! The book that lead the craze in Disney pressed penny books! It is easy to see this prototype's influence on the penny collecting books that followed, especially the First Edition penny book, patented by the good folks at Lodestar ® which later became a part of CTM , PennyCollector.com.

We have mentioned it here because, based on talk about the book over the past few years, we thought you'd want to see it. True, the Limited Edition book has proven too scarce to be an obtainable goal for most all collectors. But, the very similar, First Edition book may be a good substitute. At least, I keep telling myself that while I'm frantically searching for an original prototype Limited Edition book.
