2008 Introduced Tokyo Disneyland's
25th Anniversary "Pressed Penny" Set

Many new coins were issued in 2008. As you can see, this year there were so many, we have had to list the Tokyo Disneyland Park coins on two pages. Tokyo DisneySea and the Resort Hotels all had a very big "pressed penny" plus too. And then there was the spectacular 25th Anniversary Pressed Penny Set!

Editor's note: We are often reminded that the preferred numismatic term for these Tokyo Disneyland souvenirs is "Medals" or "Medallions". However, many avid collectors are known to use the words pressed pennies, as well as elongated coins, nickels, flattened, crushed, squashed, rolled, mashed, smashed, stamped, squished, smushed, stretched, memory, keepsake or pressed coins when describing these fun "pressed penny" souvenirs.
