The Tokyo Disneyland Resort was the first Disney Resort to offer a Coin of the Month Series, and as of 2008, is still the only park that has offered one.

The series has been extremely successful growing from one coin first placed in April of 2005 at Tokyo Disney Resort's DisneySea Park. By July of 2005, the Tokyo Disney Resort Disneyland Park followed DisneySea and placed their first Coin of the Month machine, soon followed in January of 2006 with their second Coin of the Month machine.

The Coin of the Month collections are divided in our collection guides by both gate (Disneyland and DisneySea) and in Disneyland by machine one and two. Each gate, year, and machine, offer coins with unique styles and are each easily stand alone collections, as you'll see in the collection guides. (Although, advanced collectors will of course, want them all.)
