Welcome to the Tokyo DisneySea 2008 Coins of the Month Collection. Tokyo DisneySea was the very first Disney park to offer a Coin of the Month set and placed their first machine onstage in April of 2005. By 2006, the single Tokyo DisneySea Coins of the Month machine was joined by two more Coin of the Month machines at Disneyland Park.
Each year has offered a new style or theme set of coins. Below we have gathered images of the coins, descriptions and guide numbers. The guide numbers shown in the links and descriptions, e.g. "TDS0801", refer to the standard Tokyo DisneySea guide numbers, although the pressed coin souvenirs in these sets are most often simply identified by their location, year and date. In Japan the nickel colored medal souvenirs are called "Nickels" and the copper colored medals are called "pennies".
