To most people, at first glance, the two elongated coins above appear to be from the same penny press. Closer inspection will reveal several small details that confirm the coins represent different coin dies. The elongated coin above left is the very scarce DN0030. When compared to the DL0232, an easy marker is the blurred lightning bolt on Mickey's helmet, which is sharp in the image to the right, the DL0232 onstage pressed penny.

Very much like the DL0232 pressed penny, but, a comparison of the two coins will show the prototype DN0030 features a blurred lighting bolt on Mickey's helmet and other image differences.
Rumors given ParkPennies.com suggest that this die was made to fit the wrong type of machine and the DL0232 was made as a replacement.
